DLA Piper has advised Uwe Hoven, founder and owner of LINKSrechts Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, on the sale of 100 per cent of shares to Glamox for an undisclosed amount. The purchase supports Glamox's strategy of expanding into the marine sector. Once completed, Uwe Hoven will remain as Managing Director of the company.
LINKSrechts Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was founded near Hamburg in 1994. The company produces advanced LED lighting systems for the worldwide marine industry. LINKSrechts supplies visual landing aid systems for helicopters, LED submarine lighting solutions and LED lighting systems for naval vessels. All the lighting products from LINKSrechts are based 100% on LED technology.
The Glamox group of companies develops, produces and markets professional lighting systems for the global market and owns numerous brands, such as Glamox, Aqua Signal, Luxo, Høvik Lys and Norselight.
