WFW advise ICCREA and syndicate of banks on Righetti Navi financing

15 Jun 2016

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) advised Iccrea Bancaimpresa S.p.A. (“Iccrea”), the corporate banking arm of Credito Cooperativo, Credito Cooperativo Romagnolo – BCC di Cesena and Gatteo S.c. on their €4.4m financing of Italian maritime company Gruppo Righetti Navi.

The financing, granted by the lenders in cooperation with Banca Sviluppo, is to refinance the acquisition of two crew boat vessels, named “Falco” and “Tigre”, used by Gruppo Righetti to provide transport services supporting offshore platforms in the Adriatic Sea.

Iccrea BancaImpresa acted as Mandated Lead Arranger of the syndicate of banks.

The WFW Italy team was led by partner Francesco Dialti, assisted by associate Federico Tropeano and trainee Giorgia Gentilini.

WFW lead partner Francesco Dialti commented: “We are very pleased to have successfully closed this refinancing in such a tight timeframe. This is the result of close cooperation between our team and Iccrea and the other banks in the syndicate. WFW’s involvement is further evidence of the firm’s market-leading position in the provision of legal services to the maritime sector”.
