International law firm Clifford Chance advised a consortium of Asian investors for the acquisition of the corporate entity holding the property and hotel business of the Sofitel Le Faubourg hotel located in Paris.

Sofitel Le Faubourg is a 147 room five-star hotel, located rue Boissy d'Anglas in Paris and renovated in 2014-2015. It is managed by the Accor group under a hotel management agreement. The bank-financing of the transaction was provided by BNP Paribas.

The Clifford Chance team assisting the purchasers was comprised of partner Alexandre Couturier and associates Gabriel Dalarun, Louis-Antoine Frentz and Laura Viale on real estate, corporate and financing matters, partner Eric Davoudet on tax matters and partner François Farmine and associates Jean-Baptiste Madelin and Alban Progri on employment matters.
