DLA Piper advised Luona Oy, a subsidiary of Barona Group Company, on the acquisition of the share capital of Mawell Care Oy from Mawell Oy.

This acquisition is part of Luona's strategic growth plan to expand into new geographies, accessing new customer markets. The seller, Mawell Oy, is a portfolio company of CapMan, the leading Nordic private equity sponsor.

Luona belongs to Barona Group and provides social and health care services, including home care services and residential solutions, to private households, municipalities and public sector.

Mawell Care is a Finnish company specialising in the integration and outsourcing of health counselling services.
