DLA Piper advises Radiant Group in its acquisition by DigitalGlobe

DLA Piper represented Radiant Group, Inc., a technical solutions and systems engineering provider, in its acquisition by DigitalGlobe, Inc., a provider of commercial high-resolution earth imagery products and services. Radiant was previously held privately by Aston Capital, and was purchased for US$140 million in cash.

The transaction bolsters DigitalGlobe's capabilities in the defense sector. Radiant's geospatial information and solutions, big data analytics and intelligence analysis will provide DigitalGlobe's customers with increased defense value and insights.
