Credit Suisse AG acted as lead manager together with Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd and Bank Vontobel AG as co-managers. The bonds have been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
The proceeds from the issue of the bonds were used to refinance a syndicated loan which had been underwritten and funded by Credit Suisse AG and applied to partially finance the acquisition of the Finacrotec Group.
This was the first high-yield bond listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange in accordance with the newly adopted regulations for high-yield bonds (HYB) of the SIX Swiss Exchange (Regulatory Board Communiqué 5/2014, Circular No. 4 – Practice for the Listing of Bonds). Homburger had initiated and assisted in the preparation of these changes to the regulations of the SIX Swiss Exchange on behalf of Credit Suisse as part of a separate mandate independent from the Acrotec transaction.
Homburger acted as counsel to Credit Suisse AG in respect of the bond issuance and the acquisition financing. The Homburger team consisted of Daniel Haeberli (Partner, Financial Services), Stefan Oesterhelt (Partner, Tax), Eduard De Zordi (Counsel, Financial Services) and Bettina Oertle (Paralegal, Financial Services).
