Kirkland & Ellis Advises EQT on Sale of Automic and Triton on Acquisition of DeepOcean

Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is advising two clients on major recently announced M&A transactions.

The Firm is advising EQT VI Limited on its sale of a, a leading global provider of business automation software, to CA Technologies Inc. The transaction, which was announced on 1 December 2016, values Automic at €600 million. Further information is available here.

The Firm also represents Triton in connection with its acquisition of a majority interest in DeepOcean Group Holding B.V., a leading provider of subsea services for the oil and gas and renewables industries. The transaction, which was announced on 24 November 2016, is expected to close by the end of this year subject to regulatory approval in the relevant jurisdictions.
