Sidley is representing R&F Properties (HK) Company Limited (R&F (HK)) in its conditional agreement with Caesars Korea Holding Company (Caesars) for the formation of a 50-50 joint venture to develop, own and operate an integrated resort in Yeongjong Island, Incheon, South Korea. The Initial Closing of the agreement, subject to certain conditions, is expected to take place in mid-March 2017.

The resort will be located under the Incheon Free Economic Zone and will cover 170,000 square meters. Upon completion in 2020, the resort is expected to consist of a luxury hotel and other serviced residences, a conference center, entertainment venues, casino facilities, restaurants and luxury boutique shops.

Hong Kong-based partner Constance Choy led the Sidley team, with the support from foreign legal consultant Vivek Baid and associate Selina Wong.
