Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has advised funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities (‘Blackstone’) in New York on their acquisition of a majority share in Cloudreach, a leading global cloud enabler headquartered in London. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Cloudreach is a “born-in-the-cloud” enabler and operations business that provides expert products and services for mid-sized and large enterprises on their journey to adopting public cloud. With offices spanning seven countries, Cloudreach is the only cloud-native company with significant presence in both Europe and North America. Its agile approach to business transformation is underpinned by deep expertise and experience in enabling, integrating and operating cloud technologies for some of the world’s largest organisations, including BP, Pearson and Hearst Corporation.
