White & Case Advises Underwriters on UniCredit's €13 Billion Rights Issue

White & Case LLP has advised the underwriters on UniCredit S.p.A.'s  €13 billion rights issue, which consists of the offering of more than 1.6 billion new ordinary shares corresponding to 72.2 percent of its share capital.

The rights issue is the largest in Italian history.

White & Case advised a consortium of 31 banks including UniCredit Bank AG, Milan Branch, Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc and UBS Limited as structuring advisors, and Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A., J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Merrill Lynch International as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners.
