Baker McKenzie advised Synerlink, a subsidiary of the Barry-Wehmiller group, on the acquisition of the ERMI group, a leading manufacturer of fill-seal bottle and cup fillers for the agri-food industry.
The addition of ERMI completes Synerlink’s broad range of packaging solutions and extends the company’s export network.
Synerlink designs and produces complete integrated packaging lines for the agri-food industry in general. It is a subsidiary of the Barry-Wehmiller group, a global provider of design and production services for packaging solutions to be used in numerous industrial sectors. The Barry-Wehmiller group has a headcount of over 11,000 throughout the world, with a turnover of 2.4 billion dollars in 2016.
ERMI, based in Dreux, France, is a leading manufacturer of ultra-clean and aseptic fill-seal bottle and cup fillers for milk, desserts, yogurt and juices. Created in 2000, the company today has 65 employees and an annual turnover of 18 million euros.
