Stephenson Harwood advises Jupiter Asset Management on £90 million IPO

23 May 2017

Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Jupiter Asset Management Limited on the successful IPO debut of Jupiter Emerging & Frontier Income Trust PLC, a UK investment trust.

The trust raised £90 million in its IPO and the admission of its ordinary shares to the main market of the London Stock Exchange. It will predominantly invest in companies exposed directly or indirectly to global emerging and frontier markets.

"Jupiter is a longstanding client of the firm and this was their first investment trust IPO for many years," said Stephenson Harwood partner Liz Field. "Its success - despite political uncertainly and turbulence in capital markets – shows that the markets continue to be receptive to the right investment opportunities."

The London-based Stephenson Harwood team was led by corporate partner Liz Field, with support from associate Nick Horton and tax partner Maryanna Sharrock.
