Ashurst advised BlueBay and Berenberg on refinancing of Deutsche Fachpflege Group

Ashurst advised private debt funds managed by Bluebay Asset Management LLP (BlueBay) and Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG (Berenberg) on the refinancing of Deutsche Fachpflege Group (DFG), a portfolio group of financial investor Chequers Capital. 

Ashurst advised the refinancing trees with separate teams:

BlueBay private debt funds as unitranche lenders were advised by a team led by partner Dr Bernd Egbers, assisted by senior associate Isabell Pöller, associate Dr. Jan Ulrich Heinemann and transaction manager Anna Jevsejeva (all finance, Munich and Frankfurt).

Berenberg as super senior lender was advised by partner Sebastian Schoon (lead), counsel Dr Endrik Kramski and senior associate Gabrielle Metherall (all finance, Munich and Frankfurt).
