China-based Hytera Communications Corporation Limited has completed its acquisition of UK-based digital radio products manufacturer Sepura Group PLC. The takeover transaction was undertaken as a scheme of arrangement of Sepura in accordance with the UK’s Takeover Code rules. The deal enhances Hytera’s professional mobile radio offerings and adds approximately 700 professionals and staff to its global organization. The transaction is the first acquisition by a Chinese company of a UK-listed company since 2012.
