Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised the real estate investment fund Tages Helios, managed by Tages Capital SGR on the €360m refinancing of a 101 MW solar portfolio. Owned through eight SPVs, the portfolio of nine solar parks was purchased by Tages Helios in August 2016 and includes a 70 MW plant in Rovigo, one of the largest of its kind in Italy, as well as a 20 MW plant in the Campania Region and seven other smaller parks in Lazio, Puglia and Sicily. The refinancing was provided by a consortium of banks including Banca IMI S.p.A., BNP Paribas - Italian Branch, UniCredit S.p.A., Natixis S.A. - Milan Branch, Banco Santander, S.A. - Milan Branch, Banca Popolare di Milano S.p.A., Cassa depositi e prestiti S.p.A. and Société Générale Milan Branch. The funds will be used to repay existing debt as well as to finance other projects.
