On 12 June 2017 Akershus Energi AS signed an agreement with Infranode for the sale of 1/3 of the shares in Akershus Energi Varme AS.

Akershus Energi Varme AS has operations in Skedsmo, Lørenskog, Nes and Sørum, and has a production of approximately 160 GWh annually and represents a significant increase in the business.

Infranode is a Swedish investment company established in 2013 focusing on long-term investments in infrastructure in the Nordic region (www.infranode.se). Infranode manages approximately 3.55 billion SEK from, among other things, the European Investment Bank, Folksam, KPA Pension, IMAS Foundation and LocalTapiola.

The transaction is scheduled to be completed early July 2017.
