Our client Mikju Oy bought a valuable piece of real estate at Ratakatu 3, Punavuori, Helsinki in June. The seller, Senaatti-kiinteistöt, invited tenders and Mikju Oy made the highest bid, EUR 14,050,000. The sale is awaiting approval by Parliament.

The Renaissance Revival building was completed in 1889, designed by architects Selim A. Lindqvist and Elia Heikel. The building has been previously used by, for example, the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. The building's good location enables a variety of uses. Mikju Oy is planning to have commercial and office premises in the lower floors, and premium homes in the upper floors.
