DLA Piper has assisted Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, on its acquisition of Plascoat Systems Limited, a leading supplier of thermoplastic powder coatings, from its parent company, International Process Technologies Limited, for an undisclosed sum.

As part of the transaction, Axalta will acquire both Plascoat manufacturing facilities in Farnham, England and Zuidland, Netherlands.

The DLA Piper team was led by David Beech, Corporate Partner based in Sheffield, and included Liam Freeman, Senior Associate in Sheffield and Pieter Paul Terpstra, Corporate Partner based in Amsterdam.
