Noerr has advised the Real I.S. Group on its first real estate acquisition for the new “Themenfonds Deutschland II”. The investment is in a project planned for Munich including office and commercial space as well as a hotel. The deal is worth about EUR 190 million.
The provider of property investments affiliated with the BayernLB is acquiring the real estate from Münchner Grund Immobilien Bauträger GmbH, a subsidiary of UBM Development AG, a company located in Vienna. Completion of the more than 35,000 m² project is anticipated in mid-2018. Future tenants include Scout 24, a Stadler bicycle center and a Holiday Inn hotel. The property is the first investment for the new special alternative investment fund “Real I.S. Themenfonds Deutschland II”, which was set up in June 2017. The fund is building up a diversified German real estate portfolio with an emphasis on office and commercial real estate.
Real I.S. was advised by team from Noerr’s Real Estate Investment Group led by Annette Pospich. Noerr’s Real Estate Investment Group (REIG) offers a unique range of advisory services.
