Hogan Lovells Advises Dialog Semiconductor in Acquisition of Silego Technology

Hogan Lovells has advised Dialog Semiconductor, a UK-based provider of highly integrated power management, in its acquisition of Santa Clara’s Silego Technology, Inc., the leading provider of Configurable Mixed-signal ICs (CMICs).

Dialog has agreed to pay $276 million for Silego, with another $30.4 million contingent on revenue targets over the next 15 months. The acquisition will allow Dialog to rapidly expand its market to the Internet of Things, mobile computing and automotive industries as well as differentiate its product offering to semiconductor mobile phone manufacturers.

The acquisition of Silego is projected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
