Allen & Overy LLP has advised European Directories Holdings GmbH (EDH), a Triton Fund III company, through its majority owned subsidiary, dogado GmbH (dogado), on its acquisition of 100% of the share capital of privately held Alfahosting GmbH (Alfahosting).
Dogado as well as Alfahosting are engaged in the webhosting business. EDH is a European local search and lead generation group with market-leading positions in Austria and in Finland. It provides local commercial search for consumers and lead generation to advertisers. It does this through a variety of products in print, online, mobile and voice. It has over 1,500 employees and over 200,000 business customers.
The Triton funds invest in and support the positive development of medium-sized businesses headquartered in Europe, focusing on businesses in the Industrial, Business Services and Consumer/Health sectors. The 31 companies currently in Triton's portfolio have combined sales of around €14.5 billion and around 90,000 employees.
