Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has Advinia Health Care Limited (Advinia Health Care), a nursing and residential care provider, on its agreement to acquire 22 care homes in England and Scotland from Bupa.
The transfer will at completion grow Advinia’s portfolio from 16 to 38 care homes across the United Kingdom, placing it amongst the top 15 care providers in the region. The agreement, which was signed on 14 October, remains subject to regulatory approval by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate.
Advinia Health Care, founded and owned by Dr Sanjeev Kanoria and his wife Sangita Kanoria in 1999, is a part of the Kanoria group which owns Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited, the largest infrastructure finance company in India.
