Hill Dickinson has advised Hello Soda, a global text and big analytics business, on its £4 million investment from NVM Private Equity.
Manchester headquartered Hello Soda, which also has offices in both the US and Thailand, specialises in providing advanced text analytics software solutions to customers across six continents. Its multilingual software solutions work to increase access for consumers in the digital age through deriving unique, real-time data insight to make more informed decisions on verifying identities, reducing fraud, and personalising the user experience.
Having achieved 505% growth last year, the investment will enable the company to continue its global growth plans and raise the profile of its unique and high-tech offerings that boost revenues for businesses in the ID and verification, risk and personalisation verticals.
The transaction is being jointly funded by NVM Private Equity alongside an additional £1.5 million venture capital facility from Clydesdale Bank plc.
Led by highly-experienced CEO James Blake, the business has grown rapidly since its launch in 2013 and currently has customers operating in countries in the UK, USA, Mexico, Australia, Spain and South Africa.
Rhian Hughes and Sean Lightfoot from Hill Dickinson’s Manchester corporate team advised Hello Soda on the transaction with banking advice provided by Alasdair Mackinnon.
