Dentons has advised UK-based Solarcentury, one of the leading international solar farm developers and operators, on its strategic partnership with the German solar and wind park operator, Capital Stage.
The partnership will accelerate Solarcentury’s continued expansion overseas with its initial focus on developing, acquiring and operating over 1GWp of major solar assets in the UK, Netherlands, France, Spain and Mexico. Capital Stage already operates over 200 solar and wind parks and had been seeking an experienced partner in order to expand its portfolio. Under the framework agreement, both companies will jointly own the respective assets which will be realised within the next three years.
