The shares of RHI-Magnesita N.V. (RHI-Magnesita), the worldÿs largest refractory industry player, were admitted to trading on the premium listing segment of the Official List of the UK Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market for listed securities on 27 October 2017.
RHI Magnesita was created just prior to the listing through a merger of RHI AG (RHI), an Austrian corporation whose shares were previously listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, into a newly established Dutch company. The merger and listing ÿwere effected in connection with the acquisition by RHI of Brazilian-based Magnesita Refratários S.A (Magnesita). The combined company, whose shares are now traded on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol “RHIH”, is the leading global supplier of high-grade refractory products, systems and services, which are indispensable for industrial high-temperature processes exceeding 1,200°C in a wide range of industries, including steel, cement, non-ferrous metals, and glass, among others. RHI Magnesita has an unmatched geographic footprint in the refractories industry, with more than 14,000 employees in 35 main production sites and more than 70 sales offices around the world. The combined company had pro forma revenues of approximately €2.5 billion in 2016.
Citigroup Global Markets Limited (Citi) acted as sole Sponsor to RHI Magnesita on the listing and as sole financial adviser to RHI on the combination with Magnesita.
