Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has advised UniCredit S.p.A. on the circa €40m project financing of a 54 MW wind plant located in Grottole Municipality, in the Basilicata region of Italy.

The plant is owned by an SPV of Fri-El Group, one of Italy’s leading green energy company, active in the Italian wind sector since 2002.

UniCredit is a major Italian global banking and financial services company.

The WFW Italy team advising UniCredit S.p.A. was led by Finance Partner Pierpaolo Mastromarini, assisted by Associate Daniele Pompei as project manager.
