Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) is advising PATRIZIA Immobilien AG ‘Patrizia’ on its acquisition of Rockspring Property Holdings Limited ‘Rockspring’, a UK-headquartered real estate investment manager. The acquisition marks a further step in Patrizia’s desire to become a global provider of European real estate assets, following its recent acquisitions of German asset manager TRIUVA (on which Freshfields also advised) and the global fund of funds provider Sparinvest Property Investors. Closing is subject to relevant regulatory approvals being obtained, and is expected to take place during the first half of 2018.
