A&O further expands its tax practice and its private equity group in France with the appointment of a new partner in the Paris office, Guillaume Valois. He will be joining with Charles-Antoine del Valle, counsel, and two associates Pierre Cao-Peska and Ageu Pires.
Guillaume primarily focuses on national and cross-border tax structuring of private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions. He acts mainly for French and foreign investment funds, institutional investors, listed property investment companies and multinational groups. He also has extensive experience of complex restructuring operations (distressed M&A) and tax disputes and audits.

Guillaume began his career as associate at Clifford Chance, then at Weil, Gotshal & Manges before becoming partner at DLA Piper in 2012.
