DLA Piper has announced that Lewis Greenwald has joined the firm's Tax practice as a partner in the New York office.

Greenwald's practice is focused on international tax planning and structuring for multinational companies, including tax-efficient acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations and repatriations; migrating intellectual property to tax-favored jurisdictions; transfer pricing; foreign currency gains/losses; dual consolidated losses; and FTC/OFL planning.

Greenwald, who was a partner in the Tax Transactions and Consulting practice at Mayer Brown LLP in New York, was the former regional vice president of the New England branch of the International Fiscal Association. He serves on the board of the National Foreign Trade Council and is on the board of advisors for the Journal of International Taxation. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, his M.B.A. from Rutgers University and his B.A. from New York University.
