Dechert LLP assisted Sofinnova Partners in the financing round of MicroPep Technologies, a French biotechnology company developing biological alternatives to agrochemical molecules.
Sofinnova Partners led the €4 million financing round of MicroPep Technologies, thus becoming its major shareholder, together with IRDInov and Toulouse Tech Transfer.
Sofinnova Partners invested through its recently closed fund dedicated to the sustainable transition of the chemical industry, Sofinnova IB I, with €125 million, which is the largest European fund dedicated to this new fast-growing area.
The Paris-based team advising the investors was led by Anne-Charlotte Rivière and included Thomas Bermudes on the corporate aspects and Marie Fillon on the intellectual property aspects.
