Greenberg Traurig advised OTB Ventures on one of the first venture capital transactions involving an entity from the US

The Warsaw office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised OTB Ventures, one of the first specialized venture capital funds in Poland, on a pioneer seed funding transaction on the Polish market relating to Cosmose Inc., an American company specializing in new technologies.

Greenberg Traurig provided multidisciplinary legal advice with respect to the transaction, including development of the transaction structure and negotiations of all transaction documents.

The international Greenberg Traurig Team was led by Jaroslaw Grzesiak, Managing Partner of the Greenberg Traurig Warsaw office, supported by Partner Aleksander Janiszewski and Partner Rafal Sienski. Shareholder Trevor Chaplick and Associate Christopher T. Turek from Washington, D.C. and Shareholder Dawn Zhang and Associate John Gao from Shanghai supported the Warsaw team with their many years of experience in this area.

Cosmose Inc. offers an innovative solution allowing for the provision of high quality marketing services to clients based on the Company's unique OMNIcookie technology. OMNIcookie enables retailers to identify the behavior of customers physically located in a store or its vicinity based on a network of Wi-Fi transmitters as well as geolocation data (GPS), it then offers customized advertising campaigns. Cosmose Inc. provides its services to large multinational corporations.
