Frankfurt/Main – Listed US company Coherent, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of lasers and laser-based technology for scientific, commercial and industrial customers, has acquired O.R. Lasertechnologie GmbH of Germany, a producer of tools for laser additive manufacturing.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Heike Wagner advised Coherent on all legal aspects of the acquisition of O.R. Lasertechnologie. Coherent, which is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, is a longstanding client of CMS Germany and was most recently advised on the acquisition of ROFIN-SINAR Technologies.
