Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Piramal Enterprises Limited on the sale of Piramal Imaging SA to UK based medical imaging services provider Alliance Medical Group, part of the Life Healthcare Group.

Piramal Imaging develops molecular imaging agents, including a globally approved product for assisting in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

Following the transaction, Piramal Imaging will be rebranded and combined with Life Radiopharma under the Life Brand. This integrated molecular imaging business will give physicians greater access to imaging agents and will serve the research community and pharma industry by providing integrated biomarkers and imaging facilities in clinical trials.
