Tokyo Projects partner Hirofumi Taba, commenting on the deal, said: “This transaction is the second solar project financing that we have closed in Japan in the last 12 months. We are delighted to have supported Sonnedix on this important transaction as well as contributing to the development of the Project and the wider solar industry in Japan.”

Tokyo Managing Partner John Maxwell, commented: “This is an exciting transaction in the renewables sector in Japan, it is a reflection of our expertise in green energy but more importantly part of a continuous trend we are seeing across Japan in major renewable energy investment.
