A team from Hogan Lovells’ Northern California offices is advising global travel industry technology provider Sabre in its pending acquisition of travel and distribution technology group Farelogix.
The deal would unite Farelogix’s airline-controlled retailing, merchandising and distribution capabilities with Sabre’s existing retailing and merchandising solutions and future product roadmap. At closing, Sabre will pay approximately US$360 million for Farelogix, funded by cash on hand and existing borrowing agreements. Pending approval, the deal is expected to close in late 2018 or early 2019.
Hogan Lovells partners Rick Climan and Chris Moore led the team, with key support from fellow partners John Brockland and Michael Frank, and from associates Katy Raffensperger, Lauren Zachry, Brittany Chiang, Mike Cook, Max Scott, Ryan O'Carroll and Whei Hsueh.
