DLA Piper in South Africa has advised Royal Reesink, one of the world’s largest distributors of high-quality machinery, on the acquisition of all the issued shares of South African-based import and distribution company, Smith Mining Equipment Proprietary Limited.
The Netherlands based Royal Reesink distributes high-quality machinery and components for agriculture, landscape maintenance, logistic warehousing and the construction equipment industries. Its focus on robotization, engineering, connectivity, measurability and the use of big data, enables customers to achieve higher yields from their machines and systems.
Smith Mining Equipment is a South African company representing leading worldwide brands in the specialist machinery, turf maintenance and off-road vehicle market.
