Simmons & Simmons Advises European Energy A/S on Acquisition of a Wind Park

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised European Energy A/S on the acquisition of 14 wind farm wind power plants of the Windpark Wernikow from the previous owner.

Danish European Energy will further operate the wind park with a total power of 8.4 megawatt. European Energy so far developed and built 43 wind parks and 15 solar parks with a total power of more than 300 megawatt. Today, European operates own wind and solar parks in four countries with a total power of about 65 megawatt.

The Simmons & Simmons team was led by Düsseldorf Corporate partner Dr Stephan Ulrich, who has advised European Energy on a number of wind farm projects in recent years.
