International law firm Simmons & Simmons has expanded its corporate and commercial practice in the UAE by hiring Sumit Ram as a partner.
With expertise in domestic and cross-border transactions for sovereign wealth funds, corporates and funds, Sumit advises across a number of business areas, including digital infrastructure, technology, healthcare and life sciences, real estate, energy and natural resources. He has been in the UAE for five years having previously spent considerable time in Hong Kong.
Sumit joins with significant experience in advising influential clients based in both the Middle East and the wider Asia region. He also represents a key strategic hire for Simmons, contributing to the firm’s objective of expanding its work in transactions for funds across multiple jurisdictions.
