International legal practice Norton Rose has advised Perusa Partners Fund 1, LP on the sale of its interest in Buderus Feinguss Group to Impro Europe S.à.r.l., a subsidiary of Chinese investment casting giant Impro Precision Industries Limited.
Buderus Feinguss is a leading German investment casting producer, serving a variety of blue-chip customers in the automotive, general machining, aerospace, electronics, and medical sectors with a focus on complex geometries and special metal alloys.
Perusa Partners Fund 1, LP has been a long-standing client of Norton Rose in Germany. The practice already advised the fund in 2008 when it took over parts of Buderus Feinguss. Since then the office has advised Perusa on a regular basis.
For Norton Rose’s Chinese desk in Germany, led by partner Klaus Bader, this transaction is one further example of another successful negotiation with a Chinese enterprise, after having recently advised German household supplier AWECO on the sale of its entire business to Zhejiang Sanhua Co. Ltd.
The Norton Rose team was led by partner Klaus Bader (Corporate, Munich) and comprised Sebastian Frech, Armin Fary, Nicolas Daamen, Hengliang Shen (all Corporate, Munich), Andreas Berberich, Matthias Weigert (both tax, Munich) and Anna Kudrnova (Corporate, Prague).
