Global law firm Clyde & Co has announced the appointment of Tom Bedford as partner in its Bristol office. His hire is the latest expansion of Clyde & Co’s UK insurance practice.

Tom joins from DAC Beachcroft and brings with him significant experience in the professional indemnity (PI) market. His practice focuses on defending solicitors from PI claims, as well as handling disciplinary investigations and proceedings. His work also extends to policy coverage. 

Tom’s hire further strengthens Clyde & Co’s PI capabilities and increases its regional PI partner count to 12. Clyde & Co operates a national PI business line, led by Louisa Robbins, with a headcount of over 65 regionally.
