International legal practice Norton Rose has advised UniCredit and Banca IMI on a €90 million financing to Pastificio Rana S.p.A.

Pastificio Rana S.p.A. was founded by Giovanni Rana in 1961. It is today one of Europe's leading food companies and has had year on year a continuous growth in turnover. With a factory in Illinois and the recent opening of a restaurant in the fashionable Chelsea Market area in New York City called “Giovanni Rana - pastificio e cucina”, the company now aims to conquer the U.S. market. The special mix of internationalisation and respect of tradition is the secret to the success of this historic Italian pasta company headquartered in Verona.
