Dentons in New Zealand continues to grow, with Willie Hamilton joining the firm’s Christchurch office as a partner on 3 March 2025.
Willie is a highly skilled litigator with extensive expertise in commercial disputes, liability insurance matters, and sports law. He has successfully represented clients in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and specialist tribunals. Willie advises major insurers on professional indemnity, public and general liability, and fidelity and fraud claims, offering strategic and commercially-focused solutions.
Known as a pragmatic and commercial litigator, Willie works closely with clients to understand what matters to them. By building strong relationships and gaining this understanding early on, he is able to get to the heart of issues and provide practical and commercial solutions for clients.
