King & Spalding announced that litigation and trial lawyer Eric White has joined the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group as a partner in the firm’s Chicago office.

White’s practice encompasses product liability and mass torts, complex business disputes, and internal investigations. He has broad experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of industries, including energy, chemical, life sciences, healthcare, technology, private equity and higher education. He has successfully represented clients in all aspects of high-stakes federal and state litigation, including bench and jury trials. He also leads and counsels clients in sensitive, high-profile internal investigations.

“Eric is a dynamic, energetic and personable lawyer who has both trial skills and a very sophisticated sense of oversight and management for big litigation,” said Andy Bayman, co-leader of the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group. “Chicago is an important target market for growth for our practice, and we are excited for the strengths Eric brings to the team.”

White joins King & Spalding from Winston & Strawn, where he was a partner. He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Florida and his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
