Global investment adviser and private fund manager J.C. Flowers & Co turned to Macfarlanes to advise on its acquisition of Cabot Credit Management Limited (CCM) from funds advised by AnaCap Financial Partners LLP and its co-investors Morgan Stanley Alternative Partners and Partners Group.
CCM is a market leading acquirer and manager of consumer debt in the UK and Ireland. It has over £7.6bn of assets under management, covering more than 3.5 million customer accounts and EBITDA for the year to 31 December 2012 of £111m. CCM was formed by the merger of Apex Credit Management and Cabot Financial in 2011.
