Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has hired Alison Hardy as the head of its Real Estate Dispute Resolution practice based in London.
Alison will join from Ashurst where she currently leads their Real Estate Dispute Resolution practice. Her practice spans all areas of commercial real estate disputes, including development issues, energy and infrastructure matters, investment disputes and distressed real estate. She has a particular focus on development disputes, property insolvency and joint venture disputes.
Alison has been consistently recognised for her real estate disputes work – she is ranked as a Leading Partner in Legal 500 and Band 1 in Chambers and Partners.
Alongside her client work, Alison is a member of the British Property Federation's Insolvency Committee. As part of the Committee, Alison helps to examine the impact of tenant insolvencies on the property industry with the aim of improving processes around company voluntary arrangements (CVAs) and restructuring plans.
