Dentons announces that Josh Davis has joined the Firm’s Litigation practice as a partner in its Washington, DC, office. Davis brings significant experience in complex commercial litigation and government investigations, with a particular focus on clients in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
Davis’s practice includes False Claims Act litigation, healthcare fraud, consumer protection matters and cross-border government investigations. He has served as lead and national counsel in multi-district litigation, regulatory enforcement actions and other high-profile disputes in federal and state courts nationwide. His experience included serving as lead counsel to a pharmaceutical company in a civil RICO case that resulted in the first dismissal with prejudice of its kind; representing a hospital system in False Claims Act qui tam litigation related to physician relationships and hospital operations; and leading defense efforts for pharmaceutical clients in federal False Claims Act investigations.
