Dentons’ real estate group in Europe has advised on two landmark real estate deals in Poland.
The group advised Immofinanz, an Austrian real estate company recently listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), on the sale of the Silesia City Center in Katowice. The acquisition is the largest Polish transaction this year so far and the largest single asset sale in Poland ever. The group also advised Union Investment Real Estate (Union Investment) on the acquisition of the Senator office building in Warsaw. This is the first office investment for Union Investment's open-ended real estate fund UniImmo: Europa in Poland.
Dentons’ capital markets team in Warsaw led on the recent debut listing of Immofinanz on the WSE.
Pawel Debowski, Head of Central Europe within the real estate group at Dentons Europe, said: “We are delighted to have assisted both clients with such key transactions. These two transactions are a great example of the growing activity in the Polish real estate market. We expect that this trend will continue to the end of the year.”
