Davis Polk advised J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and PNC Capital Markets LLC as joint book-running managers of an SEC-registered offering by Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (Wabtec) of $250 million aggregate principal amount of 4.375% senior notes due 2023.
Wabtec is one of the world’s largest providers of value-added, technology-based equipment and services for the global rail industry. Its highly engineered products, which are intended to enhance safety, improve productivity and reduce maintenance costs for customers, can be found on virtually all U.S. locomotives, freight cars, subway cars and buses.
