DLA Piper advised Eastman Kodak on the worldwide implementation of a chapter 11 restructuring. In the course of the restructuring the two divisions "Personal Imaging" and "Document Imaging" were sold to UK Kodak Pension Plan.
Besides Sullivan & Cromwell, who supported Eastman Kodak Company as global counsel during this chapter 11 restructuring, DLA Piper was responsible for the advice on and for the implementation of the sale of the two divisions Personal Imaging and Document Imaging in various countries including Austria, Belgium, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Japan and in some South American countries.
The Austrian team consisted of Christian Temmel and Oliver Werner (both Corporate), Stephan Nitzl (Employment) and Lothar Farthofer (Corporate Finance).
