CMS has advised Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) on the sale of Jubilee Managing Agency Limited, a managing agent in the Lloyd's insurance market, to ANV Syndicate Management Limited (ASML).   RSG will become a 20% shareholder in ASML as part of the consideration for the sale. Completion of the transaction is expected in the fourth quarter of 2013 following confirmation of customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

The CMS team was led by partner Chris Southorn, leader of the firm’s insurance sector corporate team, with assistance from senior associates Matthew Willoughby and Hanno Tolhurst and associate Matthew Stephen. Senior associate Harpreet Chatha provided tax advice, while partners Simon Morris, Ed Foss and Alison McHaffie, and senior associate Neil Beighton assisted with insurance and Lloyd's matters.
